Expanding the Curious Builder Collective to New States

The Curious Builder Collective is growing beyond state lines! After an incredibly successful first year, with around 25 builders attending four sessions, we realized this model had the potential to thrive on a national level. Builders everywhere are seeking opportunities to find community among builders, learn, and grow together—so why limit it to one state?

By expanding into new states, we’re creating a supportive community for builders to collaborate, learn, and elevate the industry together. In 2025, we are officially launching hubs in Atlanta, San Antonio, and Phoenix, with potential future hubs planned for Denver, Seattle, and Ohio.

Our strategy is rooted in partnering with trusted industry leaders who will uphold the Collective’s values in their local markets. These leaders include:

Each of these leaders has a proven track record of fostering strong industry relationships. Their local connections ensure that the Curious Builder Collective will continue to thrive as a collaborative space, no matter the state.

Our long-term vision is to build a nationwide community of industry pros where builders can collaborate locally and access shared industry knowledge. We plan to take key takeaways from each event and upload them to a cloud-based system- allowing us to all learn and grow together.

And this is just the beginning! We also envision an annual gathering where all these groups come together in person for deeper networking, education, and industry growth. 

How Can Builders Get Involved?

The Curious Builder Collective is a trademarked and copyrighted initiative, and we want to preserve the integrity of our vision and sense of community as we expand. While we are not adding additional hubs in 2025 beyond those already planned, we highly recommend that interested builders join existing groups in their state. As we grow, we’ll be looking for strong leaders who align with our mission to head new groups.

Interested in starting a CBC chapter in the future? Here’s what we look for:

  • A strong leader who prioritizes collaboration over competition

  • A community of professionals (20-30 engaged builders) willing to meet regularly

  • The ability to organize discussions, with support from national sponsors

Where Do We See The Curious Collectives in Five to Ten Years?

We’re not stopping at builders! In Minnesota, our collectives have already expanded to include:

Within the next five to ten years, our goal is to have the Curious Builder Collective established in 20 to 30 states, adding three to four new hubs annually. 

We would also love to see our collectives integrate with our wellness initiatives by incorporating events like Bootcamp and Sauna Camp to promote health and community.
